Local Landcare

The Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Network consists of five Landcare Networks: Watershed (Mudgee), Little River (Cumnock-Yeoval), Mid Lachlan (Cowra-Canowindra), Central Tablelands (Orange-Bathurst) and Lithgow Oberon Landcare Area.

Our Landcare community also includes Landcare groups, networks and other community and environmental groups.

Our networks collectively encompass around 60 Landcare and community groups, representing a force of at least 2000 volunteers within the region. The activities, focal points, and sizes of each Landcare group are diverse, spanning groups focused on community practices like grazing management and microscope groups to those focused on capacity-building events and the implementation of on-ground incentives.

Each of our Landcare networks is distinctive, maintaining trusted relationships with Central Tablelands Local Land Services, the Regional Landcare Facilitator, and their respective local communities. Our Landcare community is enriched with a broad spectrum of skills and expertise.
