Regional Muster

Our Regional Muster!

The Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Muster is a one-day gathering that brings together Landcare groups, volunteers, and community members from across our diverse region. Each year, the Muster is shaped around a theme that reflects the current priorities, challenges, and opportunities faced by our local communities. It’s a vibrant and collaborative event where participants can share stories, celebrate achievements, showcase local projects, and connect with others who care deeply about the land. The Muster is all about inspiring action, strengthening networks, and building a shared vision for the future.

2025 Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Muster

Celebrate, connect, and be inspired at the first-ever Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Muster.

This landmark event brings together Landcare volunteers, land managers, partner organisations, and community members from across the region to share knowledge, strengthen networks, and explore new ideas for action.

With a strong history dating back to the 1980s, Landcare in the Central Tablelands continues to evolve. The Muster is a chance to reflect on what’s been achieved, and collaborate on what’s next.

2024 Muster

Wyangala, October 2024

The 2025 Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Muster brought together 18 representatives from across the region and two Local Land Services staff for a two-day strategic planning workshop at Reflections Wyangala Waters – Holiday Park. Facilitated by Kim Boswell (The Forever Agenda) and Peter Pigott (Landcare NSW), the workshop responded to a shared need for greater alignment, collaboration, and preparation in the face of complex regional challenges such as drought, bushfires, floods, and a changing Landcare program landscape.

The gathering created a focused space for open dialogue, relationship-building, and future planning. Participants explored shared priorities and developed six collaborative regional project concepts aimed at future funding opportunities. Through a mix of structured sessions and open-space discussions, the group clarified roles between Regional and Local Coordinators, strengthened trust, and agreed on the importance of clear communication and regular check-ins.

While time constraints and diverse network needs posed some challenges, the event successfully fostered a shared sense of purpose. Participants left with renewed confidence, a clearer roadmap for action, and stronger connections to support ongoing collaboration. The Muster reinforced the value of coming together as a region to plan strategically, act collectively, and build resilience for the future.
