Current Positions:

Regional Landcare Coordinator

We’re looking for a passionate, people-focused Regional Landcare Coordinator to support and strengthen Landcare across the Central Tablelands.

In this role, you’ll work alongside Local Landcare Coordinators, volunteers, committees and partners to build capacity, foster collaboration and deliver meaningful environmental and community outcomes. You’ll play a key role in supporting regional projects, coordinating networks, advocating for Landcare, and helping unlock funding opportunities that support on-ground action.

This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working across communities, bringing people together, and balancing big-picture thinking with practical coordination. If you’re organised, a strong communicator, and motivated by supporting grassroots Landcare groups to thrive, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), flexible, work-from-home role, with some travel across the region required.

Regional Project Officer

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Regional Project Officer to help deliver our Better Bush for Birds project across the Central Tablelands.

In this role, you’ll support the coordinated delivery of targeted habitat restoration, monitoring and community engagement activities that make a real difference for declining woodland bird species. You’ll work closely with the Regional Landcare Coordinator, Local Landcare Coordinators, landholders, Aboriginal partners and delivery partners to plan and implement on-ground works, collect data, report on progress, and build strong local participation and partnerships.

This is a 0.2 FTE (1 day/week), flexible, work-from-home role with travel across the region to project sites. You’ll enjoy varied work that blends coordination, field activity, monitoring, communications and community engagement.
