After the success of previous years’ plant ID walks in the Capertee Valley, LLS and Capertee Valley Landcare are hosting another event on 11 May to explore a different part of the valley.
Nestled into the base of Genowlan Mountain at the end of the Airly Gap Fire Trail, our location is a 400-hectare property rich in biodiversity and surrounded almost entirely by National Park.
Hosted by Emma Nicholson, Capertee Valley Landcare, Local Land Services and Biodiversity Conservation Trust, you’ll be taken on a ‘walk ‘n talk’ to better understand the flora and fauna of the Capertee Valley.
You’ll learn about private land conservation, World Heritage and generally enjoy nature in this magical part of the world. We will provide a light lunch afterwards, so please aim to stay if you can and let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you register.
Please RSVP online.
This workshop is funded by the Australian Government under Saving Native Species and delivered alongside Local Land Services, a member of the Commonwealth Regional Delivery Partners Panel.
