Hosted by Central Tablelands Local Land Services in partnership with Napoleon Reef Landcare, Biodiversity in Miniature is a hands-on day celebrating local biodiversity through guided exploration, vegetation surveying, and habitat restoration across the beautiful Napoleon Reef Reserve.
What to Expect
Australia’s shortest bush walk — a gentle guided trail to observe and identify native plants, record phenological observations, and discuss ecological context.
Miniature flora surveys & native vegetation assessments — participants will conduct hands-on field surveys to assess the health and condition of the native vegetation and habitat.
Seed bomb making & habitat repair — create seed bombs to help revegetate a severely eroded creek area, contributing directly to ecosystem restoration.
Lunch is provided. Places are limited, so we ask you RSVP by Thursday 16 October 2025 to secure your spot.
