Wildlife spotlighting at Clifton Grove

Bring your curiosity and enthusiasm for nature, and let’s shine a light on the wonders of wildlife! For those wishing to join us earlier and watch the sunset, we invite you to a BBQ at 6:30 pm with a talk from Dhyan Blores - Dhyan is a Landscape Designer, Horticulturist, Ecologist and Sustainability Educator with over 20 years of experience in the horticulture, agriculture, and farming.

Event details:
Gather your loved ones and embark on a thrilling exploration of the great outdoors as we discover the fascinating creatures that come alive at night.  

With expert guides from the Orange Field Naturalist and Conservation Society leading the way, you’ll have the chance to spot elusive animals and learn about their habitats. 

Celebrate Orange Biodiversity Month and join us for an unforgettable evening of adventure at our family-friendly spotlighting event at Clifton Grove. 

This event has been provided to you by Local Land Services, Orange City Council, and the Orange Field Naturalist and Conservation Society. 

This event is part of Central Tablelands Biodiversity Month.

Additional details:

  • A free BBQ will be provided at the Mud Hut, and the toilets will be open. Bring a chair and refreshments. 

  • Spotlighting is at 7:00pm at the corner of Ironbark and Brumby’s Run. Please dress for the conditions, and some sections of the track are steep and slippery.

  • Bring a torch and binoculars if you have them. Spotlights and binoculars will be provided.
