Come along to this Hassans Walls bushwalk to learn about local trees and shrubs with botanist Dan Clarke, and discover how to care for native vegetation.

Event details:

Do you know what species make up our local bushland? This casual but informative walk along the tracks and trails of Hassans Walls with Dan Clarke, Botanist from Arcane Botanica and Local Land Services staff will help you get your eye in on some of our unique species.

Come along to:

  • Identify vegetation in the Ash to Fern forests of Hassans Walls.

  • Bring along photos and samples for Dan to help with identification.

  • Learn tips on assessing the health of your land and its natural assets.

  • Discover ways to boost biodiversity for both nature and farm productivity.

Landholders, nature lovers, and anyone keen to learn more about local vegetation and healthy ecosystems are encouraged to come along.

This event is part of Central Tablelands Biodiversity Month.

  • Morning tea and lunch are provided.

  • Please bring a hat, water, binoculars, and sturdy shoes for walking through bushland.
