About the day
This workshop will explore practical and proven strategies to boost biomass, improve pasture growth, build soil health and increase plant water-use efficiency, particularly under challenging climatic conditions.
The day will bring together two experienced practitioners to explore how multispecies systems, soil biology and plant nutrition can contribute to more resilient and productive farming systems.
Grant Simms – DownunderAg
Grant Simms specialises in designing multispecies cover crops, forages and custom seed blends that improve soil health, increase resilience and enhance whole-farm productivity.
Drawing on his experience managing a 3,440-hectare cropping operation, Grant will share practical insights into integrating livestock and diverse plant species to build healthier soils and more resilient farming systems.
Joel Williams
Joel Williams is a healthy soils advocate and presenter specialising in soil biology, plant nutrition and integrated approaches to agroecological farming.
Joel will discuss:

Beneficial nutrient interactions
Improving nutrient-use efficiency
