Low Carbon Landscapes - Cumnock Bowling Club

  • Cumnock bowling Club Cumnock, NSW, 2867 Australia (map)

Little River Landcare and Renovo Ag invite local land managers to join them for an evening discussion exploring whether small-scale environmental planting and carbon projects could provide an additional income opportunity for your farm.

This event is designed to help landholders better understand the practical realities of carbon farming and nature repair opportunities before committing to a project. Participants will hear about how small-scale tree planting areas may be registered as carbon projects and what this could mean for farm businesses across the region.

The evening will cover:

  • Paddock and property-specific carbon data

  • Projected financial returns and costs

  • Carbon markets and ACCUs (Australian Carbon Credit Units)

  • Carbon, biodiversity and nature repair certificates

  • Managing small-scale environmental planting sites

  • Understanding projects with no audit requirements for areas under 200 hectares

As part of the program, Renovo Ag is seeking expressions of interest from up to 15 land managers to participate in a training program focused on understanding the carbon potential of their farms and gaining practical knowledge to support informed decision-making.

Attendees will also receive a carbon report for their farm on the night.

Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP for catering purposes.
