Join Lithgow’s Frog Monitoring Program
Be part of local biodiversity monitoring and help protect frog populations in Lithgow!
This hands-on event will show you how to:
Learn to identify local frog species from their unique calls
Discover which frogs live in your backyard or nearby creek
Monitor frogs and contribute data directly to the Australian Museum via the FrogID app
Connect with Landcare professionals, neighbours – and of course, frogs!
📅 When: Thursday 11 September 2025, 5:00pm – 7:00pm
📍 Where: Lake Pillans Wetlands Reserve, Wetlands Lane (via Inch St) carpark, Lithgow
🧰 What to bring: Warm clothing, sensible shoes, a smartphone with the FrogID app installed, and a torch (it will be dark)
