Join Lithgow’s Frog Monitoring Program

Be part of local biodiversity monitoring and help protect frog populations in Lithgow!

This hands-on event will show you how to:

  • Learn to identify local frog species from their unique calls

  • Discover which frogs live in your backyard or nearby creek

  • Monitor frogs and contribute data directly to the Australian Museum via the FrogID app

  • Connect with Landcare professionals, neighbours – and of course, frogs!

📅 When: Thursday 11 September 2025, 5:00pm – 7:00pm
📍 Where: Lake Pillans Wetlands Reserve, Wetlands Lane (via Inch St) carpark, Lithgow
🧰 What to bring: Warm clothing, sensible shoes, a smartphone with the FrogID app installed, and a torch (it will be dark)
