Nakita Thackwray is the founder of Carbon Stock, an independent consultancy helping landholders navigate carbon and natural capital projects with confidence. Based between Canberra and Brisbane and working across East Coast of Australia, Nakita specialises in practical, on-ground advice that puts landholders first. Combining her background as an environmental scientist, her experience in the ACCU Scheme, and her love for farming, she knows how to bring carbon, biodiversity and agriculture together to achieve practical, landholder-focused results. Her presentation will focus on what projects are happening in the Bathurst region, and discuss a recently completed farm planting and rehydration project that restored critical koala habitat across 160 hectares.
