Clifton Grove Barbed Wire Project Working Bee
Date: Saturday, 18 July 2026
Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Location: Brumbys Run & Ironbark Road, Clifton Grove NSW 2800
Hosted by: Central Tablelands Landcare
Lend a hand to help protect local wildlife by joining this community working bee at Clifton Grove Bushland Reserve.
The morning will focus on preparing old barbed wire fencing for future removal by clearing fallen branches and vegetation that have become tangled through and around the fence line. Removing these obstacles will make the fencing safer and easier to dismantle in the next stage of the project.
Old barbed wire fencing poses a significant threat to native wildlife, with species such as koalas, greater gliders and barking owls at risk of becoming injured or entangled. Your support will help improve the health and safety of this important bushland habitat.
What to bring
Heavy-duty work gloves
Sturdy enclosed footwear
Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing
Morning tea will be provided.
Whether you're a regular volunteer or keen to get involved for the first time, everyone is welcome. Come along, enjoy a morning outdoors, and make a real difference for our local environment.
