Discover the remarkable plants, wildlife and landscapes of the Capertee Valley during this guided biodiversity walk and talk.

Hosted by Central Tablelands Local Land Services in partnership with Capertee Valley Landcare and the Biodiversity Conservation Trust, the event will help participants better understand:

• Native plants and animals of the Capertee Valley

• Opportunities for private land conservation

• The adjoining Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area

This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about the Capertee Valley’s native biodiversity and surrounding landscape.

What to bring

The activity will be held outdoors on uneven terrain, so participants should have a moderate level of fitness and wear suitable clothing and sturdy, enclosed footwear.

Please also bring:

• A hat, sunscreen and drinking water

• A chair

• A reusable mug

Lunch will be provided. Please include any dietary requirements when booking. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.
