What's that Fungus?

  • Leeds Parade Orange, NSW, 2800 Australia (map)

Event description

Fungi are diverse and widespread. They’ve managed to colonise almost every habitat on earth. Where do we begin to get to know them and how do we differentiate one from another?

This evening seminar introduces participants to a range of fungi from the local region and beyond. Taking a multisensory approach (using sight, touch and smell), we’ll work through various fungus specimens and the basic diagnostic features that are used to identify them.

Don’t forget to bring along your mushroom specimens for identification.

Workshop cost $30, Book HERE
