Rehydrate Australia Film Screening
Join Watershed Landcare for a special screening of Rehydrate Australia: Reading and Restoring Landscapes with Natural Sequence Farming, a powerful new documentary exploring a growing movement of Australian farmers restoring water, soil and biodiversity to their land.
Date: Friday 1 May 2026
Time: 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Location: Rylstone Memorial Hall, 67 Louee Street, Rylstone
Narrated by Stuart Andrews of Tarwyn Park Training, the film follows landholders across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania who are applying Natural Sequence Farming principles to rehydrate their landscapes. From clay pans in western Queensland to Tasmanian farms recovering from decades of industrial agriculture, their stories show what becomes possible when people learn to read the land and work with natural processes.
This film is more than a story about one idea — it highlights a growing community of landholders proving that landscape repair is practical, affordable and achievable at any scale. Whether you manage a large farm, a small acreage or a backyard, the message is clear: the tools to restore Australia’s landscapes are already in our hands.
Following the screening, Stuart Andrews and the Tarwyn Park team will join us for a Q&A, offering a rare opportunity to ask questions and explore how these principles might apply in our own region.
After the film, stay and connect with fellow landcarers. Please bring a small plate to share and your own drinks.
