Join Cowra’s Bioblitz Survey & Picnic
A Bioblitz is a fun, family-friendly citizen science event where community members and scientists team up to record as many plant, insect, bird, and animal species as possible within a set area and timeframe.
This free, bring-your-own-picnic morning is a great way to explore local biodiversity, learn how to identify species, and contribute to a global effort—The Great Southern Bioblitz, which celebrates biodiversity across Africa, Oceania, and South America from October 24th–27th.
Whether you're a keen naturalist or just curious about what lives in your local patch, everyone is welcome. Please register to help with event planning.
