Enhancing Farm Dams Field Day

  • 85 Mills Road Molong, NSW, 2866 Australia (map)

Why is managing vegetation in and around our dams and riparian areas so important? By fencing these areas and maintaining good vegetation you can reduce bank erosion, slow water inflow, reduce silting in the dam and filter nutrients and other pollutants before they reach the water.

Central Tablelands Landcare and ANU Sustainable Farms welcome you to explore how native vegetation in and around your farm dams can improve water quality and farm production while increasing biodiversity.

This field day will provide guidance on the types of plants suitable amongst other tips to revegetate your dam areas.

Hope to see you there!
