Campbells River Paddock Walk
Join Little River Landcare, Renovo Ag and Carbon Stock for a practical paddock walk exploring the carbon opportunities available to land managers in the Campbells River catchment. This site visit will look at whether environmental planting and carbon sequestration projects can stack up financially alongside traditional farm business operations.
Participants will visit two environmental planting project sites and hear directly from industry experts about environmental markets, carbon potential, risks, and farm business considerations.

Hosted by Nakita Thackwray from Carbon Stock, who will guide participants through a second environmental planting site and discuss project outcomes and opportunities.

Risks and considerations involved in carbon projects
Financial modelling comparisons between environmental planting and traditional farming returns per hectare
Insights into how carbon projects may fit within individual farm business plans
Participants will also have the opportunity to have their properties mapped for potential carbon yield, helping support informed decision-making around future environmental projects.
Why Attend?
This project has the potential to support up to five land managers within the catchment to register their own environmental project. Little River Landcare will provide ongoing project support to help participants achieve successful outcomes.
